Go Insurance – Snow Travel Insurance

Offers flexible travel insurance that suits your holiday itinerary & budget

Looking to hit the slopes on your next holiday? Whether you’re a seasoned snowboarder or a first-time skier, it’s important to ensure that you’re properly covered with Snow Travel Insurance. Skiing and snowboarding can be risky sports, so having the right insurance in place is crucial in case of any accidents.

If you’re planning on ice skating, tobogganing, or curling, you’ll be covered under GO Insurance’s standard policy.

However, if you’re heading to the slopes for snowboarding, skiing, or other outdoor snowsports, you’ll need to add the Snow extension to your policy to activate coverage for medical expenses in case of any injuries.

By adding the Snow extension, you’ll not only be covered for medical expenses but also for other benefits such as loss or damage to your snowsport equipment, reimbursement for lost ski passes or lessons, emergency equipment hire, compensation for piste closure, and more.

It’s important to note that without the Snow extension, you won’t be covered for any accidental injuries sustained on the snowfields.

They understand that the cost of adding snowsport cover to your policy can be substantial due to the expenses involved in evacuating injured skiers from the slopes and providing them with the necessary medical care.

To help make insurance more affordable, they offer flexible options, such as customising your policy to select specific dates for snowsport coverage.

So, whether you’re headed to the snowfields in Europe, Japan, Canada, or America, Go Insurance has got you covered with our Snow extension.

Don’t let unexpected accidents put a damper on your holiday. Get the coverage you need and hit the slopes with confidence!

So what’s covered under GO Insurance – Snow Sports extension?

Medical Expenses

You’re covered for injuries sustained whilst participating in snowsports. Just remember that they don’t cover all snow related activities and only cover you whilst on piste.

If you plan to go off piste, please contact us to discuss your requirements so that they can see if they are able to extend cover.

Snow Sports Equipment

They provide compensation for loss, theft or breakage of your snow sports equipment or any snow sports equipment that has been hired or loaned to you.

Snow Sports Equipment Hire

You’re covered for costs incurred to hire snow sports equipment if yours is damaged or lost in transit en route to your snow destination.

Ski Passes and Lessons

Reimbursement for the cost of your ski passes or lesson vouchers if they are lost or stolen.

Piste Closure / Avalanche

Monetary compensation for each 24 hour period that it is not possible to ski/snowboard and for reasonable additional travel and accommodation expenses necessarily incurred to reach an alternative resort due to a lack of snow, piste closure or avalanche at your pre-booked resort and which causes the closure of snow sport facilities.
