Business Travel Insurance
Traveling for business and pleasure has become a popular choice for many individuals. Whether you’re a freelance writer, photographer, or a small business owner, it’s common to bring along essential equipment like laptops, cameras, and mobile phones purchased under your business or company name. However, most leisure travel insurance policies typically exclude coverage for business equipment.
Introducing the Business extension, an optional add-on that caters to the needs of sole traders, small to medium business operators, and even those without an ABN. This extension is designed for travelers who take their business assets on trips for work, pleasure, or a mix of both.
With the standard policy, they cover personal property owned by the traveler. But with the Business travel insurance extension, you gain an excellent additional benefit – coverage for loss, theft, or damage to property owned by your business.
Additionally, they provide reimbursement for emergency equipment hire, ensuring you can continue working even if your equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged. They also cover the costs of recreating essential documents that may have been lost during your trip. And in case you’re traveling for business and are unable to proceed with or complete your journey, they offer assistance by covering the expenses of sending a replacement employee.
You’re covered for the accidental loss, theft of or damage to your business equipment. They’ll also reimburse you for emergency hire of business equipment which is essential to your intended business itinerary following loss, theft or damage to your own equipment.
Cover for the cost to re-create or replace your business documents that are essential to your business itinerary following loss, theft or damage.
You are covered up to the amount shown in the Schedule of Benefits for theft of business money whilst being carried on your person or in a locked safety deposit box, locked safe or similar locked and fixed receptacle.
If you’re travelling for business and due to injury, illness or death you can’t commence or complete the trip, they’ve got you covered for additional travel and accommodation expenses for a substitute to travel in your place.
